Sanjay and Jigna looked carefully at my studio and gallery during their visit while in Florida, and requested a few specific items for me to send to the Gallery. This is the first time they will show my platters as well, I sent two up for the show from the Spring firings. The pots in the show are from the April firing of my Jupiter Anagama, and a few from the Ashfest firing in North Carolina. Expect to see the trademark colors inherent from my kiln, and local wood, as well as the rich oranges we see from the Ashfest firing each year. The porcelain looks spectacular in Dan Finch's kiln, I've not seen my porcelain do this in any other kiln thus far. This will be one of the last opportunities to obtain my work fired in the Jupiter Anagama. My entire palette is about to change from new kilns, different wood, and experimental clay tests from the area. Please take a look through this show, I think you'll like what you see...
